The 23-year-old actress’s new film, Project Almanac , is out in theaters NOW!
“I’m a fan of time-travel movies, that’s for sure,” Sofia recently shared with Los Angeles Daily News . “I don’t think I would do it in real life — I’ve learned that it is quite dangerous, but I’ve always loved time-travel movies. … I’m happy that people are comparing this to ‘Back to the Future’ because it’s a great film.”
She added about working on the film, “The script was always changing and adjusting to who we were as people and actors. We had a lot of freedom to improvise and play with these characters to make them feel as genuine and realistic as possible. That’s the kind of acting that I’ve always been after, what feels real and not necessarily what’s pretty and watchable. Just the truth of what’s going on and the truth of being a teenager.”
