Carly Chaikin steps out for the 2015 NBC Summer Press Day held at the Langham Huntington Hotel and Spa on Thursday afternoon (April 2) in Pasadena, Calif.
The 24-year-old actress joined her co-stars Christian Slater , Rami Malek , and Portia Doubleday as well as creator Sam Esmail and executive producer Chad Hamilton to chat up their new show, Mr. Robot .
Premiering this summer, Mr. Robot follows Elliot (Malek), a young programmer who works as a cyber-security engineer by day and as a vigilante hacker by night. Elliot finds himself at a crossroads when the mysterious leader (Slater) of an underground hacker group recruits him to destroy the firm he is paid to protect.
Compelled by his personal beliefs, Elliot struggles to resist the chance to take down the multinational CEOs he believes are running (and ruining) the world.
