A live action of the Disney classic Mulan will be coming to theaters!
THR has confirmed the news after a script from writers Elizabeth Martin and Lauren Hynek was bought by the company.
Mulan follows a young woman who disguises herself as a man so she can take her father’s place in the army and go to war. With the help of her trusty dragon sidekick Mushu, she becomes a skilled warrior and, eventually, one of the country’s greatest heroines.
There has also been a live action Cinderella, starring Lily James , and a live action Beauty and the Beast is in the works starring Emma Watson .
